Technological and clinical advancement led to the development of EECP -Enhanced External Counterpulsation, the therapeutic systems exclusively designed and manufactured by Vasomedical with sequential pneumatic compression to increase retrograde diastolic flow, venous return and systolic unloading, greatly improve the ease of use, patient safety and clinical effectiveness.

Steven Cantor New Jersey traveled to the Sun Yat-sen Medical University in Guangzhou, China to conduct due diligence on a non invasive device for the treatment of heart disease that subsequently received United States
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval and was launched worldwide and described as a major medical breakthrough in heart disease. Known as  the Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) treatment for coronary artery disease it is used worldwide in over 1,000 centers including at the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic, Beth Israel Medical Center, Johns Hopkins,the Ochsner Foundation Hospital, The Miami Heart Institute, Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine and the Texas Heart Institute.

Steven Cantor New Jersey wanted to do more for more people and he left his day to day operational positions at the Company he founded to pursue other interests in the healthcare industry with the Former President of Merck International joining as Chairman of the Board and CEO, the positions Mr. Cantor held during his tenure.

Steven Cantor Carol Fitzgerald



Steven Cantor Carol Fitzgerald is a successful entrepreneur and a visionary with significant hands-on experience in medical devices and finance.    His achievements are numerous and his philanthropic deeds have been generous. Steven Cantor Carol Fitzgerald  has been involved in the medical industry for over 25 years during which time he has been a valuable proponent of early detection efforts, as well as an advocate and supporter in favor of efforts relating to medical and cancer  research.
Steven Cantor New Jersey was the founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO of Vasomedical, Inc., developer of an innovative heart disease device used in prestigious medical centers around the world, such as The Mayo Clinic, and The Miami Heart Institute.  Steven Cantor was instrumental in the development of a new product aimed at helping heroin addicts detox using a non-invasive technique.  The product, called NSD stands for Neuro Stimulator Device.   Mr. Cantor was a benefactor of the M.L. King Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta, Georgia.  And Steven Cantor was honored as a “Friend” on Stand Up 2 Cancers official website (Standup2cancer.org). 
Some of the efforts Mr. Cantor gears toward cancer research include collaboration and contribution of time, money and expertise with some of the most prestigious cancer organizations in the world.  The newest additions to the list of organizations he has helped include:  The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, SHARE’s Second Helping of Life event with Dr. Deborah Axelrod, and the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center at Stony Brook University.
As a survivor of kidney cancer, Steven Cantor Carol Fitzgerald  knows firsthand the paramount importance of early detection and treatment.  He invests a significant amount of his time and expertise collaborating  efforts to find an economic and effective solution for early detection, focuses efforts  to combat cancer and on finding effective treatments.   His ultimate goal is to be instrumental in one day finding an early detection method for cancer and a cure for the global epidemic of cancer.
